Are the numbers 1 and 2 the only ones needed for communication with pre-schoolers ?
Well here is my number 2.
That’s number 2 of my LLL theme series. Hopefully, you will not find it stinky at all.
I have to make it to LLL number 5 so I can do the mambo number 5.
Yes it’s LLL time.
LLL time is the time to share a laugh because laughs love sharing.
The linky thing at the bottom of this post will be open for about a week. Don’t have a link to share with everyone on this visit - no problem you can add anytime over the next few days.
I will also link to one of my funny posts, but before you get to that listen to this funny story.
Do you find your kids funny? At least some of the time when they are not destroying the furniture or whining, they can be your private comedy act.
Picture this - Buckingham Fountain - hot steamy summer day in Chicago - lots of people enjoying the fountain
(notice the refreshing spray drifting in the breeze)
Years ago when our youngest now-adult daughter was just a toddler we took her to a summer event in Chicago. As we are admiring the refreshing fountain along with of crowd of others, she noticed the spray of water. She couldn’t resist running to the water (I believe she is part turtle?).
Then the next thing really shocked us.
Standing under the spray, she turns to us, lifts her little arms to the sky and yells at the top of her lungs:
Let’s get naked !
We immediately grab her to prevent any shedding of clothes and quickly walked away wondering should we tell the crowd that we are really not those type people.
She always loved taking a shower. I say her mom gave her the phrase “let’s get naked” during the pre-shower preparation.

Is that the married with children opening credits fountain?
Dying laughing! Kids are always great for embarassment.
Thought only ones and zeros 111100011010001101 were all what is needed for any school these days.
"Let's Get Naked" is a real funny story, thank you for sharing!
That reminds me of the time that Kendall (age 3) announced, in the middle of a church wedding, while wearing a pretty little dress, "Mommy! I'm not wearing any underwear!" Needless to say, as soon as the very-long ceremony was over, we rushed over to the local kmart.
that is a cute story and funny when i imagine the parents scrambling to get her.
Oh that's cute! lol... and... Beautiful fountain!
Love it! I can just imagine the snickers and stares you received that day!
Love the fountain story!
My kids make me laugh all the time, too.
Ha! I definitely think little kids are funny. Especially when they aren't mine!
thanks for linking up a post to share
thanks for providing me a posting to share. Yes I know you could have link it yourself but I thought maybe because of the time zone difference you wanted me to link it. Also it's nice to have a few links ready to get things going. thanks again.
Checking to see if I am still on the spam list.
this one showed up but your avatar/profile thing looks like a narrow bar.
That's hilarious! I have some funny stories about my kids but they're not old enough NOT to kill me if I told them. lol
Yes you do need to be aware of possible retribution. Hey just tell them that your readers are demanding to know. thanks
:D little ones are great for embarrassing their parents and giving everyone a laugh.
thanks for sharing laugh with your post link.
Parent's can be SUCH spoil-sports, can't they? (Giggle).
But they keep you from being arrested sometimes.
When we were staying at a cabin with friends, my son and their daughter (who were about 3) staged an impromptu naked parade. Wish I had video.
Those are funny moments. We have seen many tiny butt cheeks on the beach near my MIL place over the years.
Have you reminded your son about this parade?
thanks
They always pick the worst times to bust out lines like that.
