little people little blog

Don't cry over spilt milk they say.  Really, why cry over anything that trivial?

Little change of subject (given we even had a subject?), I updated my "about" or "background" page.  I think some people read those pages.  I do when I find a new blog.  Do you?

So I added a few items about myself to it.  Any frequent reader probably already knows these things but for that person who is just a drive-by browser it might help draw them in or scare them away.

Oh, that above picture - it's from a blog I found back in 2008, back in the days before regular followers who were willing to share their comments.  Back when I was posting into the void.  I thought it was worth a repeat and that blog is still active so check it out.

My post from the past:

I just found this blog by an artist in the UK.
Interesting pictures.
Worth a look.

I used to blog into the abyss too. Feels good to have actual readers. Great thought on spilled milk. I would cry over it if it was milk from a famous cow, like that cow on the Chick-Ful-A ads.

You know, I didn't think about what cheeseboy would think about spilled milk (and I just noticed I need to fix 'split' typo). Your dairy connection might have more concerned than most. Love that ad with the cows.
thanks for sharing your thoughts.

You just reminded me to check my profile. I haven't looked at it since I first wrote it 1 1/2 ears ago. Oophs.

I'm off to check yours out.

Then someone said "Cowboys don't cry over spilt milk" and another "Mamma, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys" ...I dunno, it's all a viscous circle - hey, I also used to live in my Matchbox and Dinky cars when I was a kid ...

Lisleman, have you been reading the draft of my followup to "blogging for newbies"? If so, my firewall is down and another planned post maybe under attack!

I used to visit little people often but lost the link, thanks for reconnecting me!

I don't know what it is about you, L-man, but I look forward to and enjoy this blog and your posts. Sounds somewhat mushy, but you are a part of my day.

About that photo of seven engineers sitting around a table in happier times. I've decided that you are one of them, so I have your identity pretty well nailed down.

Signed, Charlie Holmes

Oh man stop it, you'll make me water down my beer with tears.

Yes I'm in the picture which was taken during the beginning of this blog.
thanks for your loyal support

Hey that good to know. I used google maps and a little thinking. I was very happy to see you picking up that game. You have added an interesting twist to it with the guessing of the date. I need to get another out there.
thanks

Actually it wasn't the profile but the background page. Now your comment got me to add some to my profile. This could turn into an interesting cycle.
thanks

Your addition of 'cowboys' had me wondering were I just read a post about cowboys. At first I thought it was yours, but it was cheeseboy http://theblogocheese.blogspot.com/2010/05/another-q-with-cheeseboy.html
thanks

I stopped by to tell you we went north to Seattle. It was the most beautiful trip.

Oh Seattle is one of my favorite areas. I was fortunate to have a job that took me there quite often. Mt Rainer is an amazing site when the clouds clear. The water, ferries, Pikes Market just a great place. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.
