The Delivery is special

The web is great for finding a laugh.  Maybe I've even provided you one in a post up here.

I was just checking Mrs. 4444's blog and followed her link to Awkward Family Photos.com.

Have you seen this very funny site?

I had noticed it on Facebook but never bother to browse over there.  Well you should because I'm sure you will find something there to make you laugh and maybe even spoil yourself.

An example -  Here's a post from Awkward Family Photos.com called:

Doesn't she look a little too happy to see the young water boy?  It's just water right?  Are the kids about to take Max for a long walk?

There's many other awkward pictures up there and the site is up for the People's Voice Webby Award.  Now I don't typically vote in these things but the following video just had me convinced.

Don't you wish you had cool grandparents like that?

I'm not sure if it's Awkward Family Photos or not, but I've seen some pretty funny family portraits on Google Images. There's one with a minister wearing shorts and the son is pretending to strangle the mother. It's a riot!

I do read your blog regularly, by the way! Sometimes I have trouble commenting. Either disqus doesn't like my computer, or my computer doesn't like disqus, but sometimes I get an error message and it won't let me leave a comment.

thanks for sharing a comment.
I need to go look for that image. Yes I have seen your comments here and thanks. The disqus system had a few bad days but I believe it might be better now. There is a help section at disqus.com and you should register the problem if you have one. Of course people are busy and don't have time.
Thanks for continuing to try this comment system. I do like it because of the features it has. Oh in case you didn't know it's free.

in case anyone reading the comment (and they should) is wondering about that picture, I think I found it. Here's a blog I found it on.

Heh! ... you have water delivered to your door in the USA? ... please tell more ...

... I wish I was as cool as that Grandpa .... where can I get a T-Shirt like that?

:)

The grandparents are cool. But I think the delivery picture is innocent!?

lisleman said...

Ok, you must agree the picture was staged. Sure it's innocent but it's so unrealistic that it is funny and the idea of some attraction between the young delivery guy and the lady adds a little more to it (IMHO).

lisleman said...

Believe it or not, yes some do. I was wondering if anyone would notice his T-shirt.
thanks

it's a hilarious site, sugar! and scary at times, too! ;~D xoxox

That photo might be staged for a water service company--out here in the desert we have a ton of them. But we have a reverse osmosis system . . . wait, what's that got to do with anything.

I'll check out that site, and you should check out my latest post on duct tape. An engineer should certainly appreciate it.

That family photo is too funny! I don't think he can only be delivering water!

The little boy in the pic looks like he's in the know or something.

yeah when I started to post this I thought of the scene near the beginning of Forrest Gump but didn't mention that because it's not really related to the movie. Did you see Forrest Gump and remember what I'm talking about?

unknownmami said...

I did see the movie, but I don't remember that scene.

You're right; that place is a perfect way to forget the world and just laugh.

Thanks for your compliment on the audio post. I never record them perfectly, but I do the best I can.

Absolutely--link away! thanks :)

Have a great weekend!

You deserve the compliment. Now I am no judge of voice over quality reading but I do know that it's not easy to read something with the right voice.
Thanks for reading and sharing your comments on a number of my posts.
