I need to have a word with you.
Now I’m the type of person upon hearing that, would think, really just one word?
Being a blogger means I need to share many words with anybody that browses on by. You know, a browse-by posting.

Friday on my mind and it's already Saturday. I noticed it's been a week since I posted. It's been busier than my typical week.
“When you're drowning you don't think, I would be incredibly pleased if someone would notice I'm drowning and come and rescue me. You just scream.”
― John Lennon
I would modify John Lennon’s quote to this: When you’re drowning you don’t think, wow this will make a great blog post. You just scream.
I told my wife we should retire to an island so that we will not be incontinent. I’m often reminded by what Led Zeppelin taught me long ago, “'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings”.
Acronyms certainly have different meanings depending within which group they are used. For example, CCS could be Computer Classification System or Candy Crush Saga. I stumble upon these senior texting codes on the Car Talk site: (remember click and clack?)
Gee I guess I had more that Friday on my mind. I do want to share my old man view on the lyrics to George Young and Harry Vanda’s 1966 song, Friday On My Mind.
Monday morning feels so bad,
Ev'rybody seems to nag me (It’s not just Mondays. Happens on any day.)
Coming tuesday I feel better,
(Ups and downs)
Even my old man looks good,
(nowadays I’m surprised I do miss him)
Wednesday just don't go,
(It’s not the day that doesn’t go, it’s my body)
Thursday goes too slow,
(slow is not bad)
I've got Friday on my mind
(well Austin City Limits comes on Friday night)
Gonna have fun in the city,
Be with my girl she's so pretty,
She looks fine tonight,
(this does bring back fond memories)
She is out of sight to me,
(out of sight - takes on new meaning after 50)
Tonight....I spend my bread,
Tonight...I lose my head,
Tonight...I got to get tonight
Monday I have Friday on my mind.
(yeah forgetting what day it is happens too often)
Do the five day drag once more,
(five days - I drag more often than that)
Know of nothing else that bugs me
(was the songwriter married at the time he wrote this?)
More than working for the rich man,
(working for a poor man might be worse)
Hey I'll change that scene one day,
Today I might be mad,
Tomorrow I'll be glad,
(those ups and downs again)
I've got Friday on my mind,
