I still haven’t found - U2?

I have climbed,
run,
crawled,
looked,
and have written this post.
But I still haven’t found what I’m blogging for.
(note the song clip is 4 and a half minutes)

I have climbed out of bed
I have run through dirty laundry
Only to tweet to you
Only to tweet to you

I have blogged

I have crawled
I have mold on my shower walls
My shower walls
Only to tweet to you

But I still haven’t found what I’m blogging for

But I still haven’t found what I’m blogging for

I have chapped my fat lips

felt the healing in her chapstick
burn like fire this blogging desire

I have spoke with the tongue of an idiot

I have click the button to enter
It was posted in the night
I was cold as a stone

But I still haven’t found what I’m blogging for

But I still haven’t found what I’m blogging for

(while you enjoy this guitar solo consider your comment )

I believe in the ding dong ditch

then all the pranks will feed into kitsch
feed into kitsch
But yes I’m still blogging
You broke the links
And ya loosed the words

Commented the post on my shame

on my shame
You know I blogged it

But I still haven’t found what I’m blogging for

But I still haven’t found what I’m blogging for
But I still haven’t found what I’m blogging for

genius - that's a good word. Not sure if it rates that high but I'll take it. thanks

I loved this song BEFORE I read this post. Now, I know it's just an inane melody ready to be mangled by writers such as yourself. Thanks, Bill, for the parody of U2.

Ah, are you saying I ruined the song for you? Certainly I am not endowed with the ability of ruining a person's musical memory. I might be doing more parodies in the future. Will I need to post a warning at the start of the post? Nobody really reads warning do they? I truly don't know what I'm blogging for, but certainly, it was not to ruin anyone's favorite song. BTW, do you have another favorite I could possibly mess up. I'll warn you first.
thanks

Please issue advisories if you are going to meddle with Penny Lane by the Beattles.
