'Tis the season

‘Tis the season for tangled wires of lights.

‘Tis the season for “Run Rudolph Run” by Sheryl Crow.

‘Tis the season for cheery drinks.

‘Tis the season for the awkward pictures.

‘Tis the season for 12 days of whatever.

‘Tis the season for snow in your face.

‘Tis the season for using "'Tis".  ‘Tis the season that starts earlier every year. ‘Tis the season for _____ What would you fill-in the blank with?

It is what it is - did I translate correctly?

I might be popping but I'm not dropping because I don't do much shopping. Thanks for prompting that line out of me.

Ah yes, tangled lights. No matter how neatly I packed them the year before, they always come out of the box a total mess!

My holiday doesn't begin until the first weekend of December. Thanksgiving is too busy for our family. I host a 17 people dinner following a hockey tournament weekend. Tis the season for the NHL to sign the damn contract already!

My reply will show my lack of NHL interest. They still have not settled their dispute? I had forgotten about it. A 17 person dinner is a big deal. Good for you to handle it. We (my wife really but I get ordered around quite a bit) have had slightly larger in years past. Not this year. It's a tight squeeze and chaotic.
