a place on Lake Michigan

Lake Michigan is big.  The place where I took these pictures before I even knew about blogging (sometime in 2003) is on the west side of the lake in the state of cheese.

More photos can be found most every Sunday at SIMC link collector Unknown Mami.

One more thing - don't forget to raise your flag to our Brothers and Sisters in arms who have served our country. This tune reminds me of their service.

You don't remember the name of the place??

Well I don't remember for sure.  I would guess Milwaukee Art Institute.  I'm sure you can find it on the web but the name might be different.  Don't you enjoy guessing?
thanks

Great song. Glad you put this one on your post.

Nice pics.

Because of your post, I have spent a couple hours listening to iTunes and adding some songs to my iPod. Really enjoyed all the music.

thanks there were all taken at the same place.  Maybe I should look up the name.  Art institute or museum in Milwaukee.

Yes music sure has the ability to refresh your memories.  Thanks.  I don't remember but I think it was just a painting on canvas.

That first one makes me laugh :D

To answer your question from aeons ago over on mine. I am Indian by heritage but I have spent 2/3rds of my life in boarding school (you have to go to one to understand that it is a completely different culture) or in other countries. Scotland was where my husband was from. I do love the place :D

I took a picture of that dog painting because it reminded me of our dog who was shaggy and gray haired.  Also it has a funny tongue.
Thanks for browsing back here.  I joined your followers so keep your blog going.
thanks

What is it, exactly?

A building displaying works of art.  It is on the lake shore in Milwaukee but don't remember the actually name of the place.

It looks an impressive building. 2003? When did you start to blog? I lived in a very modern city for a long time and now I live in an old gold mining city. The old buildings are incredible and clearly there was lots of money around when they were being built. I appreciate both styles but think I like the older architecture better - maybe because I am getting older myself, lol.

I started blogging in 2006 but I didn't get regular followers for a few years.  Around the time you found this blog was the time I finally had feedback in comments.  Old buildings are special because of history and their lasting quality but I don't think I would want to live in one.  So what are you mining for in that mining town?
thanks

Glad to know you are enjoying some music.  I like the message of this song - we should all treat each other like brothers and sisters.
thanks
