Baby Q

This pumpkin was carved by our youngest daughter for her sister’s baby shower.

I’m proud to announce Baby Q arrived on Friday afternoon. All are doing just dandy. She is a cute bundle of joy.

I was wishing for a granddaughter and got my wish but honestly a healthy baby with no complications is the important part.

My daughter and her husband decided not to know the gender beforehand. Since not knowing beforehand was the norm for parents when she and her siblings were born I agreed with them.

I don’t know if there are any other baby pictures in Unknown Mami’s Sunday In My City links but all linked posts offer pictures from around the blog-o-sphere. Click on the button for others.

Oh my goodness, isn't she just the most precious, beautiful baby ever?  How gorgeous is she?  Ahhhhhhhhh, I've just melted in a puddle of cluckiness, now!  Many, many congratulations Bill, what a lovely little bundle she is.  The carving is awesome, I am sure one day, when baby Q is old enough, she will be very proud and pleased at the efforts her Auntie went to, to welcome her into this world.

Congratulations lisle!  How wonderful to be a grandfather.  I never wanted to know the sex of either of mine either.  It was possible by then (they're in their early twenties) but it didn't seem right and it wasn't definitive then anyway.  How happy your family must be.

Thanks everyone for the great wishes and comments.  It is very fun to share the joy with all you.

My sister and her husband chose not to know the sex before the birth either - they received three girls :)  I often wonder if not finding out leads to girls lol

Your little granddaughter is precious.  Thanks for the looksie :)

Congratulations, Lisleman! She's beautiful. You must be a very proud grandpa. Speaking of "what's in a name," what will she call you?
