it has happened again

Here's how it goes:
I'm just browsing around the blogs I typically visit and read (actually heard this time) something that gets me searching for more info on it.

I was over at Hambo Central and listened to "Windmills of your mind".  Remember Dusty Springfield's hit of that one.

Then I found this, so I had to share it.  I was not planning on posting anything like this.

Don't we all feel this way sometime in our lives?
Calm on the outside - BUT inside - well that's a different story.  Give it a listen if you can.

Thanks Dave.

More times than I can count. I am the picture of calm on the outside.....even when it's chaos on the inside.

I think I should be glad that I didn't find the muppet version first, hell of a choice to make. The whirling pink legs look like a cross between a swastika and a Manx 3-legged man!
Take less water with the next slug!

I can totally relate!

Hi, Lisleman: My mind is always racing: that's why I'm a blogger. It gives me a chance to say some of the things bumping around in there.
Enjoyed the clip, especially since I worked with Jim Henson a while back on the Muppet Magazine. If you have a minute, check out my post about another song, "The Weight" by The Band.

Good morning Liselman! There were so many versions of that song to choose from. Dusty Springfield is hands-down my favourite (hands-down: what card game am I thinking of?).

Sting released a version in the recent past for the movie The Thomas Crown Affair. But for fun and whimsy with an underlying current of creative intelligence ~ you just can't beat the Muppets. Enjoy your day ...

Your're right: we all have felt (or feel) that way sometimes. Even clowns.

Your comments typically give me some new phrase to ponder. What's a Manx 3-legged man?
thanks

The Isle of Man (in the Irish sea between NW England and Northern Ireland) has as its flag symbol the threelegged man;

Perhaps better known as the venue for the motorcycle racing, IOM is autonomous for tax etc so a favoured offshore (of britland) finance location. We nearly emigrated there 11 years ago but the job offer didn't come off.

I couldn't listen to this the other day because Put Pie was taking a nap. I love it! I feel like that all the time.
