Halloween has become the second most decorated holiday in the US.
A prime item to decorate for Halloween is the pumpkin.
Just discovered - we have an extraordinaire pumpkin carver in the house - our daughter. So far she’s done two pumpkins this Halloween but she might do more.
Here’s some pictures she took of her work. She also knows some amazing photo techniques for capturing two views within one photo without any digital manipulation (last photo).
Happy Halloween
Here's a post from last Halloween - link.

Umm, those are amazing.
Those are great. Tell her to send a couple to me.
Tell your daughter she and her pumpkins are-fabulous!
She's quite the carver! I especially like the pumpkin with the haunted house carved into it. Carving relief designs isn't easy!
We got out of the habit for a few years, but we used to carve 20 pumpkins every Halloween. We always tried to incorporate whatever movies and television shows were popular. The trick or treaters always loved looking at and identifying them all. We did about 6 last year. Hopefully we'll do a few more than that this year.
thanks - wow you must have some pumpkin budget.
That is incredible! I could never do that. I can barely manage eyes and a mouth!
Wow!!! She truly is talented!!
She is a pumpkin artiste!
WONDERFUL JOB. I love them both. She could sell them they are so good! Once I used a power drill to drill a whole Mickey Mouse head made with holes of various diameters. Pumpkins are fun. W.C.C.
thanks she thought about using a Dremel tool but ended up getting wood carving tools.
WOW, those pumpkins are awesome!
I bought 20 pumpkins for a gaggle of kids to carve at Godson's birthday party next week. Maybe your daughter would like to stop by and show 'em how it's done. Pretty please :-)
Cheers, jj
she would probably go if you gave her a roundtrip ticket.
Your daughter does indeed have an artistic talent. These pumpkins are great.
Those are fabulous!
You have a Michaelangelo in your midst. She may be the next famous artist.
Those are really good. I'm actually thankful not to be on pumpkin carving duty in my family.
Very, very cool!!! Now, that takes talent!
