I don't typically write a post about complete strangers except for people in the news. Who knows this lovely lady might be in the news for her viral video. It's great to see people step outside and greet their day with such enthusiasm.
Now I'm not looking for anyone. My wife is a fun dancer and even laughs at a few of my jokes. I'm probably too old for this lady. However, this clip has me wondering if cranking up the stereo in the car always works this well. Cruising to loud tunes is fun.

That was fun to watch. Over the last few years my perception of what 80 something looks like has changed a lot. I have a few friends that I have coffee with every Wednesday morning. I am the baby of the group having turned 60 this year. One of the ladies is 87. I would say she looks in her 60s but that isn't true I guess as she looks older than me. She still plays golf a lot, travels, exercises I don't see the typical stiffness or lack of coordination one would expect in a 87 year old.
Recently, a clip of the 101 year old running a marathon and last Sunday there was a story on CBS Sunday morning about a 60 year old that jogs backwards 6 miles everyday through Washington DC. Ageing is as diverse as the people that are aging.
I know there are many people older than me that are in much better physical shape. I hope to keep moving about as I age. I don't have the dance moves this lady has but I have the spirit.

This was perfect or me to view today. My Nanny's funeral was yesterday. The video helped remind me of my Nanny's spunk and brought me joy!

Oh, someone sent this to me because I love to dance! This will be me when I'm her age, God willing! (Except for cussing like that in front of her granddaughter - although to be honest, I didn't even notice it. A friend pointed it out to me!) I think I posted this on my blog, too.
