far east friday fragments

Pardon my speculation (it’s a family trait) but I think Mrs. 4444 is in the Far East. Her blog had it’s FF post up before midday Thursday. I like having her FF linkies started before part of the world is into Saturday already.

Mommy's Idea

I browse around a lot and take inspiration anywhere I can find it. Recently I was inspired by my leg falling asleep. Think it, feel it, blog it.

Remember the last time you had a conversation with your drink? You probably don’t, things often go blank after deep thoughts like that.

Whatever happened to growing old disgracefully? If you read my last post you know I’ve gained another year. Does this age promotion diminish my chances of attracting Sheryl to my blog? (see this for more background)

Pinning without the pin pricks. Thimbles unnecessary (thimble production must be down these days) when pinning on Pinterest. Did you know if you search for “pin” on pinterest you’ll crash the whole internet? Just kidding, you’ll find more pin-up than pin pictures.

I used the following movie poster picture in a post about the postal service. After looking at the scene depicted below I started thinking (dangerous I know) of a dialogue for it. In his deep sexy voice I heard,
"Be still, there's spinach stuck to your tooth."

Hahahaha, yea growing up sneaks up on you. I wonder what it would take to get Sheryl to read your blog, hmmmm.

That's hilarious, the spinach thing! I love those old pics on the planes. We toured the airplane museum in Ohio and man of them are still intact on the fighter planes. It was fun to see.

They are usually called nose art. I don't think we will ever see it being done on modern aircraft because it would probably affect something with its performance. Well if you have an idea to get Sheryl to read my blog I'm listening. Oh was the museum at Wright Patterson AFB? Been there many times but not recently.

Yes, Wright Pat. Very fun!! I would show you the nose art on current jets if it wasn't a security issue. We have a reitred fighter pilot at church. I know for sure that their 'nickname' is stenciled on their jets. Here is the book he put together: http://www.amazon.com/Viper-Force-Fighter-Wing---Fight/dp/0760340323/ref=sr_1_7?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1362086658&sr=1-7&keywords=robert+renner

thanks Even when just a popular service like FB or Twitter slows down people don't know what to do. I say pull out your e-readers and when the power goes out read paper.
