Illegal monkey living on Frosted Flakes bites woman
Really? Doesn't EVERYONE know you don't feed monkeys Frosted Flakes. Tigers eat Frosted Flakes. I suspect that woman was a flake and probably not even frosted.
A java macaque monkey was involved in this incident. So was a flaky woman.
Now a completely unrelated story -
I read a recent post by Pam over on Empty Nest in which she gives her review the grey book that more than 50 women are talking about every 50 minutes or so.
Her post got me pondering and I post the following on my G+ stream.
Hey shady readers or people who are attracted to the number 50 - I have not searched extensively but does anyone know of a male reviewer of these popular books. Could a guy make it through reading this stuff? I remember reading a bit of Women are from Venus and Men are from bars or something like that. It was years ago. Just wondering.
I got a few good comments on this question - you can join in here or on G+
Hey did you notice the bit of grey in Frankenstein's bride. Just think how that story would of changed if E. L. James had been the author.

While I have not read those books, plenty have and are talking about them, the worst of which was my mom. YUCK, I so did not have to hear those things. I digress... I am sure there are plenty of men that have read and enjoyed the books, of course, we will never hear of it!
Oh sex and parents they just don't go good together do they? I also have not read the book(s) but I can't imagine too many guys relating to this "inner goddess" thing. The great thing about people - there's a big variety among us.
Hehehe ... if my owner had a hairstyle like that I'd probably bite her too ...
I bet you don't feed your monkey frosted flakes. Has you monkey ever bit you?
But theeeeeeeeeeeyy're GREAT
I think there's mention of frosting in 50...My favorite Frankenstein movie was Young Frankenstein. Maybe an EL spin on that one would have been funny...Nah. LOL Thanks for the mention!
I guess not for monkeys
frosting? really like in food? Thank you for triggering the idea to ask the G+ followers. "Young Frankenstein" was very funny.
Nevermind, it was ice cream. LOL
BWHAHAHA!!! I love your take on the 'flake' and the monkey.
thanks - it sounds to me that she was a flake
That headline cracks me up - they really tried to fit the story into the headline. Are they blaming the frosted flakes somehow? I haven't read the 'gray' story, but I think there are even some women who have a tough time getting through it!
After I read the article I thought they were blaming the frosted flakes diet. Poor monkey probably got tried of the same old stuff. Unless you live in a wilderness type area I don't believe you should have these wild types of animals as pets. Private zoos are often dangerous for the animals and people. thanks
Perhaps you should read it while snacking on Frosted Flakes.
That could be dangerous. Remember how President Bush choked on a pretzel once? Good combination though.
I would bite someone if I was fed frosted flakes too. As for 50 shades of Grey - I read it and don't really get why its so popular. Perhaps it is just a bit of escapism for people and easy to pick up and put down and resume again when you have time. I found it hard reading as the writing is crap. But I cannot deny this woman has struck gold, millions in fact. Good on her but I would save yourself the trouble read something else. I am sure many men will read it to see what all the fuss is about and try and get some tips for what is turning women on.
Now as for your question on headers. Jeez yours looks good, fun and colourful just like you. I think it is very well done and suits your blog. And you have revealed yourself in a picture too. Mine is just a photo of my city is all, nothing inspiring. And I like to keep my photos offline mostly - I dont blog too much personal stuff or share too many personal photos. Perhaps you can change it round every few months or so to keep readers on their toes. Lilly
Poor monkey, being subjected to Frosted Flakes. They're not so grrrrrreat for primates!
I'll confess to having read those books that shall not be named. I like pop culture phenomena so I had to know what the hype was all about. I'm still not exactly sure. I do know that I laugh every time I see a woman at the airport or the pool walking around trying to hide the fact that she's reading it.
Hey are you back to cruising the blog world? The "taboo" nature of the books makes them popular. People are curious by nature also.
thanks for including my blog on your ports of call.
thanks for looking over the banner. Updating more often would be good practice. It's easy to get stuck on many things, even a blog banner. I assume the non-routine nature of 50 shady book has some appeal. I wonder what the segment of people for whom the book's descriptions are routine think of it. It would be funny to overhead a conversation about how the author got it all wrong.
thanks again.
