looking down can turn out good

Often it is right there at your feet. I certainly don’t recommend walking around looking down too much. You are bound to walk into things or get run over by a bus. Do you know how many people are run over by a bus every year? I don’t but if you do, please share.

I’ve managed to get off track already. Maybe if I followed my own advice I would see the track to follow.

I took the following pictures looking down.

We have two little girls living across the street and like many kids they enjoy chalk. There is a better variety chalk colors available today than when I was kid. I did grow-up with sidewalks so my past doesn’t go back that far.

One nice spring day recently, the girls decided (our 20-something daughter may have suggested) to give our driveway an art makeover. It appears they think the world of us.

You can be surprised when you look around. Looking down is included in looking around. This picture came from a puddle reflecting the glass dome of a zoo building I visited. What a pretty puddle!

Get outside take some pics but don't forget to check out the ones at Unknown Mami's (click the button below).

That last picture is fantastic.  Sort of an abstract art piece.

thanks - when I walked upon it, I stopped in my tracks.  It took me a second to realize what is was.

Awww those girls are too sweet - I can even see Namibia in the first pic ...

... that's strange ... I always walk looking down (probably snakes that have made me adopt the habit) ... and I've never been run over by anything (touch wood) ...

I love the last image, it kind of looks like a foot print in shape.

This is a great set! I like the perspective of these shots. Looking down was a good choice.

Maybe the shape of Africa is not too hard to remember.  Getting run over by a bus is said more than it happens.  thanks

I tend to look down a lot.  Not sure why I do it.  Quite amazingly I have not ran into anything.  :)

It's nice to be reminded of simple fun like kicking a rock down the path or road.  thanks

Savannah, the one time we visited Savannah for a few days years ago there was sidewalk art throughout a park near our B&B.
thanks

The puddle reflection is quite lovely and your neighborhood chalk artists do a great job.

My sister and I were once playing a game while walking home from the library; we'd take turns closing our eyes and being guided by the other. On my turn to have my eyes closed, my sister found a $10 in a parking lot! Pays to keep your eyes open, too :)
