I shrunk the fragments

What do you get if you shrink a fragment? I don’t know. Were you expecting answers on this blog? I’m not a shrink. Maybe a shrunk punk.

Enough with the title already. It’s a Friday and this post contains fragments. Do you enjoy brain nourishing fragments? Go to Mrs. 4444’s blog for a salad bar full (remember when salad bars were all the rage?) of fragments.

Mommy's Idea

Miniature effect on rocks or my camera can shrink you so watch it. I found it strange that the effect on these rocks made them look bigger.

Movies - I was surprised that I didn’t get (so far anyway) one comment from a reader who has also seen the movie “The Descendants”. The movie has been out for awhile. I highly recommend it (see previous post).

Odd news - I guess this was on his bucket list. A 55 year-old Montana man teased the police into a chase. It started when he sped his SUV around a police car he had been following. After 100+ mph chase on the interstate the police brought him to a stop by flatten his tires. They didn’t find anything illegal in his car. He was sober. When asked about it, he stated that "I just always wanted to do that."

I don’t know if he always wanted to pay a $1000.00 fine but I know where he could send his next $1000.00.

Women are so fussy about their comedy. For example, no jokes during sex – what’s up with that?

Did you listen to music in the 70’s? If so, you might enjoy these updated versions of two 70's hits.

Roberta Flack’s hit from 1973 should now be changed to:
The First Time Ever I Forgot Your Face
Tony Orlando & Dawn”s hit for 1970 should be updated to:
Knock 3 Times On The Ceiling If You Hear Me Fall

Love your fragments.  I've always wanted to do that!  No jokes during sex, who says that.

These are great! Oh my gosh, I can't believe someone had 'chased by police' on their bucket list! I saw the Descendants, so guess I better step back to your last post!

Wanted to do what?  Get chased by the police?  I don't know any romantic jokes so how do you find an opening for a joke?  thanks

I always want to fly a jet plane but I'm not going to try jumping in one and take off.  Thanks for checking out the last post.

You know, I had somehow not even heard of the movie, The Descendants, until a couple of nights ago when I was looking at the nominees.  I put it in my Netflix queue but doesn't look like it will be available for awhile.

Why would someone want to be chased by the police "just for fun"?  The driving fast I get but the police chase?  No thank you!

Love it, I was thinking about the Montana Pollice Chase and now wondering if that was maybe on his Bucket List of things to do : )  I think I could think of something else other than risking say a taser. : )

I love Mike from Monsters Inc. He's just so..so..cute. All I can say about the Montana guy was it was a guy. Kind of not surprised. They all do tend to have an inner child that never seems to die.

Happy Friday!

How about call 911 if you hear me fall.

Maybe you don't remember the "Knock Three Times" song.  The original lyrics repeated the phrase "Knock three times on the ceiling if you want me".  Your suggestion would change it too much IMHO.  You have me wondering if there are any 9-1-1 songs.  thanks

lisleman said...

The inner child is a great thing only if you were a good kid.  thanks

Given this was Montana it must have been the chasing part because you can drive at high speeds on their open roads.  Maybe he didn't think of the arrest and court parts.  thanks

lisleman said...

I agree and you can drive fast on Montana's open roads.  I hope you get to see the movie.  thanks

Can you help me fina a baby sitter?  Then I can go to the movies.  We'll rent the Descendants when it's released I think.

lisleman said...

It's often worth the price of a babysitter to get that relief.  Oh it's not a movie for kids really.  thanks

Joking during sex combined with trying to make your rocks look larger.  Hummm...

lisleman said...

That wasn't the joke but you gave me a laugh making that connection.  Good one - thanks

I like your 70's tunes, updated. The only English music station in Tegucigalpa plays music mainly from the 70s and 80s. I especially like the disco stuff. It's makes the scary traffic seem a bit more bearable.

thinking of traffic and disco makes me laugh.  Stayin alive - great idea.

Oh yes, I have written a post about that very song. I need to run a post of my old favorite posts. I used to laugh more.

You didn't get a comment on the Descendants because I was away from blogging and commenting for a month of misery.  Otherwise I would've totally shared. Both my husband and I cried. He's rooting for it to be movie of the year, I can't decide between the Descendants and The Artist. I thought it was beautiful (I mean come on, it's in Hawaii and touching, real but not a total downer.

I think $1000.00 is worth crossing off a bucket list item, although, someone could've been hurt. That's the safety monitor in me.

Oh my...I love when my husband jokes while kissing me. He'll say something funny, kiss me, laugh, kiss me, say something else, kiss me. It's one of my favorite qualities. I've learned also to let him make me laugh during fights.

I hope things are looking up for you.  Laughing during an argument that helps defuse the situation.  thanks

Maybe it depends on the woman. It happens. Just this morning, in fact.

hmm - I guessing you are referring to jokes with sex, not the falling and knocking 3 times. thanks
