dog watch dog days doggone it

I picked up one of my granddogs on Friday. She was excited to leave in my car with me but after a few blocks started whining. Maybe she expected a different trip. I have not traveled much with her. Maybe she doesn’t like my driving.

She will be “vacationing” at our house while my daughter is vacationing elsewhere.

Just to be clear. The dog pictures in this post were taken by my daughter. I have no reason to suspect the dog has a drinking problem. But she is old enough in dog years. I was able to drink a beer in front of her without her asking for one.

Another test will be walking her in front of bar to check her reaction. If I knew she could attract free drinks I would consider taking her out some night.

Based on her barking, I know she would be a LOUD drunk if she did drink. One of those blabbering drooling drunks that smell like a dog. Well she can’t help the smell, she is a dog.

I think she maybe addicted to cushions and pillows.

Hehehe ... that dog remindas me of my monkey Stoffel - one night she smashed open a bottle of booze and got motherless drunk, complete with hangover the next day ... she's not so keen on alcohol any more ...

That beer is good but not my favorite.  We are neighbors to the south but she does have great memories of WI.  thanks

That look works pretty well for me if you replace the bottle with a 2 liter jug of Diet Coke!! Funny! W.C.C.

What a fun post to read. If you take her with you to a bar you may not get a free drink but you may wind up with a few phone numbers. Thanks for stopping by my blog, and yes not only does Sioux Falls have a statue of David but we also have a miniature statue of liberty. I guess you could say we love art :D

That's funny that she was happy to go for a ride, but then realized the whole family wasn't coming with her!  That's happened to me before - I get put into a car and everyone takes off LOL  Sounds like she has a lot of personality - I bet she's a fun drunk, if that were indeed a problem.

Sharing your car trips - funny thanks

Her daddy loves going up his friend's lake house up in Wisconsin...she has only been once.  No whining on the ride up either...she saved that for papa.

She does have a lot of personality.  She is a spoiled brat, and shows it.  I think she's been upset sleeping at Papa's house, because he doesn't share his pillow with her.

I'm not sharing a pillow with a dog.  I don't how cute she is.
