So I thought this old post of mine would be a good one to slip in for VD (you know Valentine's Day). Enjoy and check out the links. They still work I checked. (this Valentine connection was inspired by Just Jill at Elemental my dear - however the freaky Burger King connection came from some weird place in my head and Jill would not think of such a loopy thing)
Unless you never watch American TV ads (I know I have some non-US readers), you should recognize the Burger King guy below. The weird appearance makes the ads memorable which is the name of the game.
(I know Burger King is very international - so now I'm wondered if they had used this freaky king guy in other countries. Anyone know? please comment)
Looks like they turned up the flame on the ad cooker.
The WHOPPER® sandwich is America’s Favorite burger. FLAME™ by BK® captures the essence of that love and gives it to you. Behold the scent of seduction, with a hint of flame-broiled meat.
Now that's what has been missing in my life - the scent of flame-broiled meat. Grilling usually leaves me with that scent but now I can get it in a spray - great.
Well if you are looking for a romantic web site click over to this.
Oh, once there don't forget to click on the spray bottle and this might make you hungry.
Still have a minute or two? Here's a funny related clip.

well, I don't know what to say Lisle....you've got me speechless! You might want to consider adding somewhere that this is part of the Elemental Challenge, otherwise, people might wonder if I went a bit loopy! ;-)
That king guy kind of freaks me out. I hate him, quite honestly. I've seen horror movies less frightening than that commercial.
Nope. Never saw the guy.
So, did the new scent work for you?
I love my old posts and I would love to recycle them.
returning the friday follow! :)
Never seen him in britland, although there is a certain cartoonish likeness to King Henry VIII?
nope ... never seen King Burger ... but we do have that weird Colonel - his chikken's not that bad when you're in a rush - and I've seen McDonalds, but never tasted his cuisine. Then there's Spur this and Spur that steakhouses and other American institutions like Mad Magazine ...
This reminds me of a New Yorker cartoon of new colognes for men. My favorite was "Sane." The tag line was "For once in your life, smell like you don't have issues."
yeah I was chased down the block by a pack of dogs. just kidding I would never spray that stuff on myself.
You should recycle an old post.
so a disclaimer ?
my last comment obviously ended up in the wrong place. i'm going to go post it right now! thanks lisle for taking the challenge!
no problem - thanks
I don't like that guy. He is nightmarishly freakish.

Nothing says HOT like grease and hamburger. Gets my motor running every time.
(PS grabbed your button).
thanks for grabbing the button - so it sounds like you might be have been a cheap (inexpensive - not high maintenance) date. Grab a burger at the greasy spoon and your motor is running. thanks for stopping by.
