I recently bought gas for less than $3.00 a gallon. I was so surprised I had to take a picture of the place. It was in the Ozarks in Missouri. This is about $1 less than around my town at the time. Problem is this place is about 3-4 tank fulls of gas drive from my town.
I'll be surprised if the prices near me get this low.
Of course, the Ozarks are beautiful so maybe the solution would be to move there.
