That time of year to start using the barbecue. I filled our tank of gas the other week and was pleasantly surprised that the price of LP gas has not changed much.
I came across this video of a place called the "door to hell". They featured it on rocketboom. It's either in Uzbekistan or Turkmenistan (it was easier when you could just say the USSR). Here's a link if you want to see more pictures. So the explanation is a sink hole that has a constant supply of nature gas.
Man I could fill my barbecue tank forever from that source. But there's a problem - the fire will not go out - it's been burning for some 30-40 years. Hmm - global warming.
