Interesting Airfone mention

I stumbled on an interesting statement regarding Airfone at the end of a story about inflight services. Here's the line from that "thestar.com" story.

...As well, Verizon said late last year that it would discontinue its Airfone service by the end of 2008 unless it came to an agreement with JetBlue’s Live TV unit to take over the operation.

Hmm - I wonder if there's any other mention of this. A quick search and sure enough there was. Airfone mentioned it themselves. They posted a letter about it on their web site. Sounds like old news (posted back in late Dec. 07). Now I wondering if the talks are still going on. Anyone know???
