I planned to write an insightful post about time and the reflective thoughts many have during the holiday end of the year season. Our seasonal contemplation of past and future ties in well with the fact that most of humanity lives north of the equator. The shortest day comes and then our days start lengthening once again.  (also you have those year end sales events to contemplate)

That was the plan. This Neil Young hit song popped up on my I-tunes list. I'm easily distracted by good lyrics.  I think this post will just fade away.

They give you this,
but you pay for that

What was Neil Young unaware of good return policies?

And once you're gone,
you can never come back

There's more to the picture

Just think, Neil wrote that last line decades before Facebook where there is more to a person than their profile picture.
