google laughs even before they head for the bank

Certainly all my hip followers know about google Glass.

Sergey Brin, co-founder of Google

Remembering how hip it was to wear a bluetooth earpiece a few years ago, I can imagine people want to strut around with Glass on their face.

How long before we have the first Glass wearer accident? Is there a klutz test before you can wear them? What about a pervert walking the streets watching porn? Oh wait, that already happens with smartphones.

One Seattle bar jump out front of the news and got free PR when they posted on their company FB page:
“The 5 Point is the first Seattle business to ban in advance Google Glasses. And ass kickings will be encouraged for violators.” (story link)

The Verge web site cranked up the fun with a photoshop contest displaying Google Glass.

What will they think of next? Don’t worry we have google shoes around the corner.

I hadn't heard of Google glasses before...so of course, I had to stop and Google it....and watch a couple of videos. OMG, I see crowds of distracted people meandering around cities preoccupied with their Google glasses. Thats what we need more distracted, unfocused individuals on our streets and driving cars.

The comments on the 5 Point FB page are funny though. They are ready to fight over their right to wear Google glasses.

I don't think they hide the "big brother/watching" part but some many don't pay attention or don't care.

People meandering on city sidewalks - hey that reminds me St Paddy Day is coming up.
thanks

I think they look freakishly at home on Einstein's head.

Wow, this is the first I've heard of them.

Cool you can say you heard about it first at A Few Clowns Short - the source for whatever. thanks

blends well with the white hair. He would shocked with the advancements we enjoy (or not enjoy) today. thanks

I've never heard of them, but then, I still don't even have a bluetooth gadget on my ear!

I never had one of those either. I do think the bluetooth connection on the newer cars is a good idea. Handfree is better. I guess we need to get a newer car now. thanks
