sad funny and a little weird

This story is one that initially produces an OMG and maybe a chuckle. That’s what happened to me when I heard about it on the radio game show, Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me.

A brother and sister are reunited through an online dating site.

Divorced Sarah Kemp decided to try find love at an online dating site. She found George. The two of them exchanged many emails and found they had many things in common.

Thank goodness they figured out at their first face-to-face that they even had parents in common. Sisters and brothers love each other of course but not in that I’m attracted to you way. Can you imagine the emotions of discovering this at their reunion?

The sad part of the story is learning that their parents divorced and the family was split up. Sarah went with mom and George with dad. But what an awful divorce that would not allow brother and sister to get together over the years.

Don’t know if there was any background music available at the place they met but this would have made great background music.

Sad and weird, but also nice that they were able to meet at all. What are the chances? It must have been a very strange moment of realization when they found out they were siblings.

The sadness is in how their parents handled the situation from the beginning. The gladness is in the fact that now they are brother and sister again. Of course, in the nick of time too.

A rather good ending. Parents who take one child each, I feel is selfish but I do not know the circumstances that it may be the arrangement is the best for everyone.

A strange story indeed - thankfully it had a happy ending ... an amazing coincidence ...

Yes, sad that parents would do that! It's the one thing I didn't like about the movie "Parent Trap"! But at least they finally met - and realized they were siblings (before it was too late. yikes!)

I don't know quite how to feel about it. It's great that they found each other, but how odd to have to convert romantic feelings to brotherly/sisterly feelings. And is it just me, or do they both look quite old for their age?

yes I thought they looked older too and it is one reason I didn't bother to grab the picture from the story. thanks

That IS a strange story. Happy ending, though.

This is why Boston online dating sites such as Sugardaddie.com, globalbeatz.net and boston.personals.yahoo.com have become so popular with their success in matching couples from all over the city.
