Diddit diddit diddit diddit diddit diddit diddit didda

If you search on this post title you’ll end up finding the lyrics to the Yes song “I’ve Seen All Good People.” Like many songs (classic rock seems to be more like this than the songs today) the lyrics provide some advice. Such as:

Take a straight and stronger course to the corner of your life

Hmm, the corner of your life, that doesn’t sound like a great place to be. Seems a corner would restrict your next move. You would face the edge in two directions. Probably would make you edgy. However, haven’t you felt cornered many times in life?

under a big foot

Listening to a few covers of this song and reading about its background lead me to discover a tribute to John Lennon’s “Give Peace A Chance” included in the song. The background (mostly on the left channel of a stereo recording of it) has the chorus of John Lennon’s song. (you need to listen very carefully for it - could be a good hearing test)

Diddit diddit ... didda (All we are saying)
Diddit diddit ... didda (Is give peace a chance)
Diddit diddit ... didda (All we are saying)
Diddit diddit ... didda (Is give peace a chance)

This game of life is one you only get to play once. Since you play it for your whole lifetime, the play is not always engaging and you can often get very bored playing. Other times figuring out how to advance out of the corner you find yourself can be frustrating. My game has been very exciting and enjoying many times. Other times frustrating.

Society and various groups provide general rules. Most of the rules benefit the players.

Of course, life is not a 2 dimensional space. It’s at least 4 dimensional and possibly more if you count dreaming, spiritual thoughts etc.

The sky's the limit. The sky starts at the ground and ends when you run out of air to breathe. Doesn't sound very inspiring to me.
