Was Galileo boring

I don't think so. Just the opposite, with all his ideas and discoveries I suspect he would have been a great blogger.


Today is the anniversary of his telescope.

Thanks GOOGLE for reminding us.

It was not his invention.

How he used this new tool is why we remember him today. Finding the four largest moons of Jupiter was a game changing discovery.

In 1633, he had some explaining to do before the Church's inquisition. It still hard for me to understand why it was not until 1992 that the Church formally vindicated him.
