a non government space team
Richard Branson named his latest adventure aircraft in honor of his mother. Since the aircraft is the "mothership" of the spacecraft that carries his passengers into space, his mother's name makes sense to me.
A seat on this ride cost more than many small planes ($200,000) but I imagine most of the passengers already their own planes. No food served on this flight.
The experience and view are the value items in these tickets. If I had that much spending money I would be signing up too.
Interesting and slightly sexy nose art on this plane.
