I found another video worth your time. I don't think you'll find it on youtube but you can watch it over at the National Geographic site.
So the story here is some chimps tested better than humans on some memory/learning tasks. The video shows (wish I could just include the video here but it didn't appear to be available) a chimp doing the test which involves a touch screen and memorizing the location of numbers. The chimp is fast, faster than the humans tested. Now maybe they didn't test video game players.
The story has me wondering about that "Planet of the Apes" movie.
Do you think they could train a chimp to do your job? They have trained dogs to search for various things and many are very smart.
