A great morning song.
Scrambled eggs
I'm not a regular TV watcher. Often I flip to CNN during commercials on other programs. This past weekend I flipped over and found Jimmy Fallon on "Piers Morgan Tonight".
Jimmy Fallon can sing/play song impersonations. If you like this post check him out doing "troll dolly jingles".
During the Piers Morgan show he told how he was so fortunate to be able to sing with rock stars like Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen.
He did a duet with Paul McCartney in which they sang "Yesterday" with it's working title scrambled eggs. According to wikipedia, the melody came first. The working opening verse "Scrambled Eggs/Oh, my baby how I love your legs" was used for the song until something more suitable was written.
So get your toast and coffee ready and enjoy -
Want a little Jimmy Fallon? He did "Reading Rainbow" (PBS kids show) in the style of Jim Morrison of the Doors.

Fresh cracked pepper sprinkled on top - hmm I'm hungry.

Hehe - I've seen Fallon a few times on SNL - haven't watched it in quite awhile ...
Is Jon Stewart still on CNN?
I love Jimmy Fallon he is pretty funny!
Loved it.
Jon Stewart "The Daily Show" is still on and I watch often. I don't know if it was ever on CNN. It's one of Comedy Central's big hit shows.
thanks
Thank goodness they came up with new lyrics!
you answered a question I thought about asking. Would "scrambled eggs" have been the hit "yesterday" was since they had the same melody? I tend to agree with your answer. "Rocky Raccoon" didn't make it too far in the charts and it has a catchy tune.
That was funny. I like Jimmy Kimmel, but hardly ever watch TV let alone LATE night TV.
I gave you a shout at on a post! You'll have to check it out. I think you will appreciate the humor in it! ;-)
thanks - I'm on my way over to see.
I'm a big Jimmy Fallon fan. I loved when he hosted the Emmys.
Hope you're having great summer. jj
Ookay! now you're just making me hungry!
Hello Bill, first and foremost I could never thank you enough for highlighting slidely to me. It is awesome, just what I needed and more. And as for scrambled eggs, that is what I have almost every morning. No idea who Jimmy Fallon is.
Jon Stewart was on CNN.
He has been a guest on CNN shows but he never worked for CNN. His show was on MTV and now Comedy Central.
You are very welcomed and I am happy to see you making those great slideshows. Jimmy Fallon is a comedian who has hosted a late night show for a many years now.
I just googled, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (a compilation of the best of the week's Daily Show) was on CNN International. If it is still on I cannot tell because I do not watch tv anymore :)
Oh that's interesting - CNN international is very different than our US version. It is also strange because Jon Stewart often pokes fun at CNN news coverage.
yeah when I googled, all I saw was news of him poked fun at CNN. We do not get Comedy Central on our cable, wouldn't it be fun.
Love it!
