Nothing compared to the all-night drinking parties that the University would throw. I remember one in particular when I definitely had too much to drink. I *may* have worshiped the porcelain goddess when I got home. I still made it to work by 8:00 the next morning, though.

I don't do that anymore :)Jenehttp://theoriginalbean.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29376160.post-22163995947789446102012-01-03T09:05:13.703-06:002012-01-03T09:05:13.703-06:00That's wrong. It was in NYC and in the middle of a blizzard. The coat check guy wouldn't take "ladies coats". It was insane and silly and all so full of you know what. It was not a fun party for the "girls" but the food was great.

Wishing you a great 2012!!!

jjJoanna Jenkinsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29376160.post-63222775923320213962012-01-02T22:56:53.548-06:002012-01-02T22:56:53.548-06:00I was never a fan of the 'office party'. Since I worked the night shift with the kids at the fast food, I always did a pizza/taco/whatever they wanted to eat party and a grab bag of candy for them (and I paid for it myself as well as got bitched at by MY boss).

As a waitress, you'd think we wouldn't have anything, but several companies did something. The best one was Waffle House that we took our kids to the skating rink, had pizza and the company gave the kids a toy. Since we had to sign up with age and gender of the kids, my son at the time got an action figure that was around $12 (but all the kids got nice toys).

Some of my jobs had us drinking with meetings and the like, not specifically on Christmas tho. I always kept my drink to one, even if they were paying for it.SewDucky!http://sewducky.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29376160.post-88970849096331726792012-01-02T00:26:57.259-06:002012-01-02T00:26:57.259-06:00No he wasn't but I was already hoping he would...No he wasn't but I was already hoping he would go away, he was a horrible husband. My most memorable office Christmas party was the year two drunk sisters wouldn't stop hitting on my ex-husband. Funny thing is, I was kind of hoping one of them would steal him from me, no luck. Kind of a dark confession, I know. This years office Christmas party was great. The worst thing that happened was I got barbacoa taco juice on my shirt.tracismixedbaghttp://tracismixedbag.comnoreply@blogger.com
