once again I can see clearly now

Most of this post is a repeat.  However, my little granddaughter inspired me to rewrite it.  I was sitting next to her early one morning as her dad drove to the airport for their trip.  I commented that the weather looked good for flying.  This 2+ child quickly told us that were clouds (there were a few) outside.  But  her optimistic attitude remained.  After telling us about the clouds she announced that "rainbows were coming".

I can see clearly now the rain is gone.

I can see all obstacles in my way.

Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind.

cool Wisconsin air show

It's gonna be a bright bright sunshiny day.

Oh, yes I can make it now the pain is gone.

All of the bad feelings have disappeared.

Here is that rainbow I've been praying for.

rainbows are very hard to photograph - this was in Santa Fe

It's gonna be a bright bright sunshiny day

ooh Look all around, there's nothing but blue skies.
Look straight ahead, there's nothing but blue skies

I do hope she had a rainbow, up over the clouds. Actually, she is a rainbow.

Kids do see clearer.....they don't know of the clouds and obstacles of life....I always say my daughter lives in a world of butterflies and rainbows and sometimes a unicorn or two!

What a nice story and my grand kids often say things that remind me of the innocence of a child. Their words can sometimes stop me right in my tracks.

Yes often there is truth that we don't notice because of our adult complicated thinking. Thanks for browsing over here and sharing a comment.

The rainbow forecaster is ADORABLE!!!

What's the airshow picture about? Is that an explosion?

Great picture of a rainbow. I haven't tried photographing one but I gather from your comment it is hard to capture one on film.

Thank you. She also says funny and cute things all the time. Ok, she has me wrapped around her finger.
The airshow pic was a staged WW2 attack on the airfield. Very realistic when you hear the guns and explosions. You could feel the heat too.
I believe our eyes can see rainbows better than most cameras. That was just a point and click camera.
