song covers all the days

They call it stormy Monday
but Tuesday's just as bad
They call it stormy Monday
but Tuesday's just as bad
Wednesday is worse
and Thursday's also sad

The eagle flies on Friday
Saturday I go out to play
The eagle flies on Friday
Saturday I go out to play
Sunday I go to church
that's when I get down on my knees
And I pray

“Stormy Monday” was written by T-Bone Walker back in the 40’s. She-who-knows recently introduced me to Eva Cassidy’s songs. Her beautiful voice can only be heard via recordings today. She passed away at the young age of 33. Eva was a big hit in the UK with her cover of “Over the Rainbow” charting high in 2001, years after her death.

33. What a shame. Lovely voice.

What a tragic story. (of course I had to Google her and read the whole story) Wikipedia says there is a documentary about her life in the works.

You did the same thing as my wife. She became an expert on her after reading articles and watching youtube clips about her. There is one clip in which a record producer admits his turning her down was a huge mistake.
thanks
