funny mixes with scary

Here at the Institute for Better Postings we categorize Halloween costumes into two basic groups.  (Yes I could divide them into even more groups but this is not a funded study)
  1. Funny (this includes the cute descriptor which is overused)
  2. Scary  (this included extremely stupid which is scary)

I put both of these into the funny category

This next costume was not a Halloween costume but oh boy was I scared when I saw it. My daughter was goofing around and placed an old wig (long story involving in-laws) on her head. I walk into the room and almost passed out from shock. She looks just like my ex-wife (her mom). Worst than seeing a ghost. Oh sure it's not scary for you but just posting this here might make it difficult for me to come back and reply to comments.

top on my list of scary costumes

BOO

Not too scary reading the word "boo". Hear it suddenly in some dark place and most everyone jumps. I found this interesting explanation about scary noises on youtube.  Please share your Halloween thoughts in the comments.

Happy Halloween
(oh please don't dress up as anyone's ex)

That cracks me up picturing you afraid of your daughter when she wears the wig. lol

I can only imagine how scary it would be to see your daughter looking exactly like your ex. It's always amazing how children can look so much like one parent.

That is an awesome carving job on that pumpkin.

Was the first picture supposed to be ZZtop? Or another ex?

I probably like the funny a little more but a good costume is a good costume no matter. thanks

That was carved by our youngest daughter a couple of years ago. There is a post about with more pics. Actually when I think about DNA and genetics which I have a watched-a-few-documentaries knowledge I'm amazed we don't produce children that look even more like the parents. My could look like my ex daughter and I laugh about it. As you might imagine it was not the looks of my ex that bothered me. thanks
