you and tube make me laugh

I have mentioned before my attraction to youtube. I mostly watch funny odd clips and music clips. Youtube is not just for entertainment. There are serious informational and educational clips offered there too. Tribute clips that will make you cry.

I’m more of a beer drinker than wine drinker. I do enjoy good red wine but my pronunciation of the French names typically trip me up especially after too many glasses. I was pleasantly surprised by my youtube find today.

As you might expect there were many other French pronunciations to be found on youtube. Since the clips are short, I was quickly working my way through an ad hoc French lesson until I stumbled onto this one:

Now that last one gave me a good laugh. Here’s one more (there are over 200) from the group that pronounce new words like me.

One problem with youtube clips is some people read your blog at work or a place where they can't listen to a clip or are blocked from youtube. Another frustrating problem is the copyright problem when lawyers show up.

If you decided to check out my youtube collection over on my “Another Circus” blog, you might find a few clips that have been hit by a copyright problem.

Hehehe .... yeah ... "haute couture" sounds a lot different than what I imagined in my mind ... the only French words I can say with confidence are "mon petit choux" ... a French woman once said it to me ... :)

Those are funny. I always enjoy You Tube clips but am way too lazy (or maybe it's the lack of attentions span) to spend much time looking around on You Tube to locate things. I, guess I will just depend on your blog to keep me informed of any "must see" clips.

Oh chérie, I had to look up your French phrase. A term of endearment how nice. I did know petit was little but the cabbage or creme puff word was a new one for me.

Here's a little French singing for your enjoyment:

HEY! That last one has been removed.

Love the pronunciations. I almost didn't listen past "Pinot..." but glad I did.

You are so fun to confuse. Ok, hope you didn't take offense to that smart-ass remark. I might just write a confusing blog. It makes sense to me when I write it. The last one was a screen shot example of what happens to my favorite clips I try to embed. Glad you enjoyed the mispronunciations. thanks

I had a waiter mispronounce pinot noir to me Wednesday night.

I'm going ot show the other two to my son - he's taking French and mispronounces it just to yank my chain.

I'm always willing to help in chain yanking fun. thanks

I'm distracted by the add below your post, which depicts the very same Cuisinart mixer I was eyeing up this afternoon. Not sure if I like that (the spying on me) or hate it.

I don't think the ads are too many. Of course, I don't get the same ad because as you figured out google watches where you have been. I bet if you logged out of google and revisited you would have a different ad.
Regarding ads and opting-out you should check out this site. I've opted-out of a few.
thanks
