egg rolls on

I enter the day with as much excitement as counting the headlights on the highway. Nothing really to pin this leveled feeling on. Being calm is not all that bad.

Packed away most of the Christmas tree decorations and lights yesterday. Packing things away, cleaning up from a party, you are glad for the experience but wonder why the fun can’t last. Does anyone out there get excited over cleaning up and packing away things? I can’t recall anyone ever telling me that.

There’s a sun more than halfway across the sky, right now. I might as well go saunter around the neighborhood. Maybe I could scare a few squirrels.

I hope it's warm enough to whistle.

Catch you on the flip side.

What???? The sun is shining in the Chicago??? I spent 6 days there last week and all it did was "sorta" snow and be gray. Maybe Chicago is happy now that I am back in Kansas City.

It waited for you to leave? Actually depending if you location was close to the lake you can have very different weather. Nice sun, cold wind, no squirrels spotted. thanks

I am digging your hair. Hm. Is that kind of like counting the headlights on the highway? I'm thinking so.

I meant to pack up the Christmas stuff today, but never quite got to it. Maybe tomorrow.

thanks - didn't see any squirrels on my walk.

Headlights might be easier to count than hair. I've been blessed with a good thick head of hair. thanks

If it goes past Valentine's Day people might wonder.

I love decorating for holidays, I put Christmas up the day after Thanksgiving so I was pretty excited to put if away over the new year. I like a fresh start to the new year!

I think putting up the decorations being is more fun than taking them down. What's the next holiday/season theme do you decorate for?
thanks

Outside lights are a different matter. It depends on the weather, how many, easy to reach, etc. I still have the little bit of them out there but I'm not turning them on. I'll be taking them down today, tomorrow, soon.
thanks
