playful penguins

I posted many pictures from our visit to Grand Rapids ArtPrize recently.  This set of pictures are all from one entry that I found amusing.

The waterfall fountain is outside the Gerald Ford presidential museum.  Real penguins would probably enjoy the place.

You can find more pictures from around blogland at Unknown Mami's SIMC.

Party animals, if I've ever seen any.

Penguins, real or not, are so endearing to watch! :D Looks like they're having a good time!

They are adorable and how creative. I would love visiting the museum just to see that sight.

My young niece just came back from a school excursion to Africa (yes how incredible are the excursions these days). She came home with loads of video footage of animals and was giving me a look on the weekend. One of the cutest clips was of a group of penguins all waddling up a hill in line. I watched it over and over. There was also another cute one of a rhino and her baby walking up a bath backsides wiggling away. I asked her could I borrow it for my blog. It is fantastic to watch. Penguins would have to be my pick for favourite animal.

Wow that is one grand field trip. You didn't mention a grade but I'll assume it was not college. I have many favorites and penguins would be on my list but the apes, monkeys and dogs are hard to top. thanks

Yes they are funny looking. I just thought about their predators, seals, they probably smile too for other reasons. thanks
