just pulled up in a dust of fragments

She probably would hate the dust but Mrs. 4444 loves fragments.

Mommy's Idea

belching planets?
NASA Spacecraft Sees Huge Burp At Saturn After Large Storm
“...Goddard scientists describe the unprecedented belch of energy in a paper to be published in the Nov. 20 issue of the Astrophysical Journal...."

Wow, like, those loud belches of mine could have been published?  Who knew?

From the Lisleman loony lexicon - earbrow - the hair that starts growing out of your ears later in life.

Amazon product reviews - have you read these funny reviews. You can search on "Amazon funny reviews" and find them. I suspect there are new ones everyday.  It's work to write funny blog posts (writing for good comments). What drives people to post funny product reviews? Internet fame?

Here’s an excerpt from a review of Zubaz pants:
“...when the UPS driver pulled up with my package. Realizing what was being delivered I grabbed the box, thanked the driver and mostly ran up the five steps to my double wide. Hopping on one foot while trying to get my acid washed jeans over my boots, I simultaneously opened the box with what pass for my teeth. As I pulled the silky polyester over my legs I was simultaneously struck by a sense of awe and wonder....”

Mr. Natural Hunka Kaboom
Listen up, if you legally change your name to ‘Kaboom’ you should expect a few problems in daily life. I suspect Mr. Kaboom might have a problem with air travel but just attending a City Hall meeting raised unexpected issues for him.

I went to our village hall this week and voted. Luckily my name is not Kaboom.  I think all the states should have early in-person voting. Did you know two states Oregon and Washington have mail-in only voting. Saves them money with every election. Go vote.

As if reading my blog is not an experimental exercise in itself, try this:
I cdnuolt blveiee that I cna aulaclty uesdnatnrd tehse wrods. 1) Who dreamed up having the guy in the zebra pants pose like that?

2) I've seen Christmas light shows very similar to those Halloween ones.

3) This time I am getting the disqus comment form and no word veri - - - cool.

I remember Zebra like pants in the 80s. Can't believe they are making a come back.
I love Halloween, but it looks like hurricane Sandy is ruining ours this year. BOO!
Funny how our brain can process mixed up letters and we are able to read them.
I've tried the disqus comment form, but must be doing something wrong when installing it. It never seems to work right.

Kaboom, huh? Talk about deliberately choosing a life of confrontation and problems. I'm thinkin' he doesn't mind attracting attention.

I love the video sure to be a big one hit wonder! I see people in my neck of the woods wearing pants just like that....it's the worse part of the 80's to have stuck around. Have a wonderful weekend!

Great to see it working correctly. Who dreamed up zebra pants in the first place? Halloween is apparently second to Christmas in decorations.

The zebra pants product review is a big hit - but I don't know about the pants. Our weather for Halloween would have much better if it was this last week. The Disqus team has offer help to me in the past, you should submit your problem in their help section.

Apparently not. I don't understand the legal changing of names. Sure a stage name makes sense but why legally change it for publicity?
thanks

lisleman said...

Good way to phrase it - the worse part of the 80's
thanks

Zubaz pants were just wrong as a trend...

luckily those type pants were never worn by me. I will admit I had some strange looking pants in the 70's. thanks

You really have me thinking now, I guess I have to learn to be funny because I have been getting no comments on my blog. Those amazon reviews are just too funny. I shared the house video on facebook, my grandkids love it!
I read that paragraph with no trouble at all..scary.
Have a great weekend.

Our human mind being able to actually read that gibberish is why proofreading is best done by reading the lines backwards to be sure to look at every word separately to catch spelling errors.

Love the gibberish and the Gagnam Style video! Thanks for sharing your dusty fragments again this week ;-)

thanks for coming to take a look

Well, it's official. Gangnam Style has become TOO popular.

lisleman said...

thanks have a great weekend too. I don't think being funny is the key to comments. I don't know if there is any special formula for comments. As you probably know very few visitors leave comments. It's very nice to hear you liked multiple items in my post.

lisleman said...

Yes I do think it will die quickly now. I almost put up the clip this same guy did last year. It was based on "Thriller" and I liked it but in the end I went with the trendy one. thanks

lisleman said...

That's a new for me. Read the lines backward - hmm - I'll need to practice that. thanks

Earbrow...I think ear burns could work too if you style it.

lisleman said...

Coming from the style consultant I think you are -- ah OK, any female on earth knows more about style than I do. You have me wondering if this idea could go somewhere at least during the Halloween season.
thanks

I saw that Gangnam Style video, pretty good I can imagine how much that must cost them every year.

Yeah I guess spelling is important ha ha?

I can actually visualize that guy running at the UPS dude and then diving into his house to put on his pants!

And my husbands belches should be chronicled!!

lisleman said...

Hey your husband could be famous. Thanks for sharing but I'm glad it was only text and not sound.

I believe it is quite expensive just for the equipment and then you have the set-up and power. One would really want to have it.
thanks
