I can see clearly

I can see clearly now the rain is gone.

I can see all obstacles in my way.

Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind.

cool Wisconsin air show

It's gonna be a bright bright sunshiny day.

It's gonna be a bright bright sunshiny day.

Oh, yes I can make it now the pain is gone.

All of the bad feelings have disappeared.

Here is that rainbow I've been praying for.

rainbows are very hard to photograph - this was in Santa Fe

It's gonna be a bright bright sunshiny day

ooh Look all around, there's nothing but blue skies.
Look straight ahead, there's nothing but blue skies

You can clearly see other photos over at Unknown Mami's place most every Sunday.

No just added images to a song.  When you listen to a song do you see images?   I often do.  thanks

Wonderful air show shots. The rainbow is gorgeous.

thanks the rainbow is always brighter live compared to point-and-shoot photo of them.   Have you taken many rainbows shots?

One of my favorite songs. Thanks for the cheery thoughts and images.

Look at all those people packed under that small awning trying to stay dry!

I looked around, after I saw the words "Wisconsin air show" to see if I could find WHERE you are from. Methinks possibly this Sunday selection of photos is from all around the place rather than all from one locale.

Glad to share some cheer.

Your photos matched up perfectly with the words! Loved it! Thanks for a bit of inspiration as I start this Monday!

thanks, I was inspired to do this after watching Jimmy Cliff on Austin City Limits the other night.  Have you ever gone to a performance of that?  I've seen many different musicians on the PBS show.  I suspect it could be a monthly, or at least a weekly thing.

How clever!  I love it!  That first image reminds me of an outdoor festival we went to one day.  It was in a huge open field and a bad thunderstorm came on abruptly.  Not enough time to escape so everyone there had to huddle under a huge tent until it passed.  Luckily it wasn't too, too severe, but it was scary!

thanks - After hearing this song, I remembered taking a few pictures of when the clouds opened up on us.  We were soaked to the skin by the time it was over.  Even had to dry out the cellphone.

Aww, looks like you had a great day - and I LOVE that final shot up there.  And yeah, rainbows are particularly hard to capture, but you did a sterling job with this one.

Was going to say the only good version of that song was Jimmy cliff....nice.

These pictures were taken over a long period.  The shot you love was  on the road going into the Smokey Mountains (FYI - I was NOT driving).  thanks

lisleman said...

thanks - don't know if you read my other replies but his singing this gave me the idea to do this.

I sure do like Jimmy Cliff's version better than the one that made the Top 40 back in the day.

Where oh where is that Tin Man?  I'd love to see it some day.

lisleman said...

The tin man is in Chicago's Oz park along with Dorothy, Toto, Scarecrow and the Lion.  Not sure why but they don't have the witch.  Here's a post I did on it..

I'm very glad I could help.  Have a bright sunshiny day!

Those are great!  I haven't been to Chicago since those were created.  I love love love the city.  Always regretted turning down a job there.  What a wonderful park it must be.  The bronzes are beautiful.

lisleman said...

Our daughter did the silhouette of our grandson. Thanks for letting me bend the rules a bit and linking this older post up on your song-ography. I'll try to match the selected song next time.
