Friday Fragments with news

I don’t know if Mrs. 4444 ever meet a Knight of Columbus but I have and their hats and swords are really cool.

Anyway she probably would get a warm reception if she visited the Knights of Columbus Saint Mary's Council #4444 in Florida.

I just can’t help but think of Wisconsin when I start writing my Friday Fragment post. Weird news comes from all around the world but I think Wisconsin gets more than their fair share. Here’s another bit of Wisconsin news from Whitefish Bay:

Naked postal worker …
Any headline that starts with those words doesn’t need anymore words.

From the news story - “he admitted making the naked mail delivery and said he was only trying to cheer up the woman and make her laugh.”
Compared to the other type of “postal” acting out this one is not too bad.

Do you ever dream about what life was like long ago in the far distant past? I mean other than when you fell asleep in history class.

It would have been just amazing to be there on the first day of recorded history. Talk about knowing a celebrity, just think if you could say, “Yes I was there when Gog stood up and said I think I’ll write this down. And then a man call Lar King came by and interviewed Gog”

Some days I wake up feeling like I’ve been around since that day.

Santa kids

The Chicago Tribune has their scared of Santa picture album up again. You know they made a book from their past collection. Guess who owns a copy?

Mommy's Idea

Lately I’ve done some shopping in a store or two. The convenience of online shopping draws me into more and more of it. But I’m proud to report that I have not set foot in a mall so far this competitive shopping season.

But I would like to give all my readers/followers a nice gift. What’s better than the gift of music? So please pickup some holiday music as my gift. Just browse over to Amazon.com go to the MP3 Downloads section. There you find “25 Days of Free”. Click it and pick out a song.
(I’m not sure any of my international readers will be able to get the music but it’s worth a try)

At this time of year I feel it can only help to remind people that if you get lit-up like a Christmas tree give the keys to someone else or take a taxi.

It's funny that the naked postal guy assumed his naked body was laughable.

yeah overall it sounds like a funny story and nobody was hurt (well nightmares maybe). I hope if there is nothing more to it the guy doesn't lose his job.

I kind of feel sorry for the naked postal worker guy, if he thought his nudity would make the woman laugh...
I could contribute pics to the Scared of Santa book. I'm that kind of Mom. I have a great one if they ever do an Easter Bunny version!

Naked postal worker, huh? Not sure what I'd think if I saw that--laugh or be afraid! LOL

I'd like to know why the postman decided that his naked body delivering mail would make this woman happy. LOL It's great you own the scared of santa book! Love it.

Thanks for the PSA :) Sometimes we all need a little reminder.

Oh how sweet, and I haven't gotten you anything for Christmas.

Yes you have. You just don't know it. Your blog is a gift to all the readers.
Now if this gets any deeper we'll need to put on boots to walk through it.

Jeez, my postal worker never delivered my mail naked. Sheesh.

Scared of Santa photos are a riot. I have a few of those in our family photo album from when we were kids. I have a couple of "Is Santa Drunk?" photos too. What a job-- being a Santa. There is not enough money in the world to get me to do that job all day long :-)

Wishing you and your family a great Christmas! Cheers, jj

PS Stop by, I'm having a giveaway.

It's been a long, long time since I needed a Designated Driver.

As a matter of fact, I have met the Nights of Columbus--They make a fabulous pancake and porky breakfast, though they apparently see no need for swords or uniforms for that :)

Thanks--You're very generous! Merry Christmas, Lisleman :)

hmm pancakes, probably better than donuts.
Merry Christmas to all the 4444s
