trust me I’m NOT a lawyer

Describe a lawyer.

Did you use the term bloodsucking?

There are all types of lawyers specializing in every area of our lives. Maybe they are not all bloodsucking, but after you visited the New York city legal office of Winston & Strawn you might notice red spots on your skin.

They really do suck blood!

The Winston & Strawn staff received this alert about the new extra staff working 24/7.

“...To all personnel of the NY office: As we informed you yesterday, we have bed bugs in our office space. After a complete inspection of our office space last evening, which confirmed that our infestation is throughout our space, we have decided to implement liberal leave today,...”

Did you notice how their client squirmed during the deposition?

Now a little closer to home.

Cute hats - I don't think any of those guys are lawyers.  It would be cool if I had a lawyer wearing a hat like that.

This week in a nearby suburban hotel is hosting the Bedbug Summit.  Registration was $395 so I decided to take a pass.

Is the hotel that desperate to allow a bedbug conference to be booked there?  Do the next renters of that conference room get a break?

The American Bar Association’s meeting planners should contact the Bedbug Summit planners.  There has to be a few common topics for creating great training sessions.

(bedbugs + lawyers ?  How about Happymeals + lawyers - check it out)

I like expensive lawyers just fine when they are bloodsucking on my side. Funny thing is that I NEVER like Bedbugs, regardless of which of my sides they are sucking! W.C.C.

How about a liberal stay policy. Meaning you clean up the infestation and set up sleeping places in teh office b/c I wouldn't want to go HOME and infest my own house.

That sure is a huge problem, isn't it? I understand it is truly a huge deal right now and they are have trouble getting rid of the nasty bugs. Yikes.

Why am I itchy all of a sudden?

I'd love to have a hat like that.

you do have a way of looking at things from a different viewpoint which is a good talent. Interesting decision stay and risk more bites or go home. Maybe everyone should strip down, shower and leave naked.
thanks

Stacy I do that all the time. I often drop small words such as "not" which reverses the whole comment. One of the great features of DISQUS is you could of hit the "edit" button (only shows if you the comment author of course) and changed the error.
coffee - good stuff
thanks

Bedbugs, ugh! They're almost impossible to get rid of. My daughter fought a futile battle with them for three months. Finally, had to get rid of her bed and move to a new apartment. She still has the scars to prove it.

i'd read that Niketown had been shut down due to bedbug infestation. seriously, how many people are sleeping at Niketown? is the homeless problem THAT bad?

lisleman said...

the bugs just want to have some of your blood they don't really care if you are in bed sleeping. They get carried from place to place in luggage, clothes, furniture, whatever. So I don't think would have much to do with the homeless.

So she could not kill them off? I have heard of people getting rid of furniture because of them.
