what's in a blog

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?

No this is just a blog.
But to me it's something special.  An expression, a place to share and get some feedback.
You pop in with a quick look around.  You are free to move on and many do.  There are so many blogs and so little time.  It's OK.

Because I'm easy come, easy go, Little high, little low,
Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to me.

But if a photo, a story, or video clip grabs your attention and you stay for a bit, then I suggest you look around just a little more.  You'll probably find another post similar and maybe even better.  Hey maybe you could spare some of your feedback in a comment.

Blogging and sharing play together well.  So share your opinion.

To help you look around there's a searching gadget over on the side.  Also, I have tried to tag/label my posts (not perfect but I'm working on it).

So what's in a blog?
Mostly a lot of time.  Do you have any to spare?

So you think you can stop me and spit in my eye.
So you think you can love me and leave me to die.

Thanks and here's a fun version of that song.

Any way the wind blows.

Nicely put! Time is key. (And I will have that song in my head for the rest of the day, thanks.)
This is right up the alley of this week's Spin Cycle, about blogging. Let me know if you want to link up!

My pleasure to give you the stuck song.
Sure link me up. I was actually trying to get your badge (I'm calling them blagdes) but it was not working. Then my connection dropped so I gave up.
thanks

I am going to have that song in my head all day. It's not a bad song to get stuck on .

lisleman said...

looks like that is a common problem today. Since it's a long song which part gets stuck on you?
Also did you notice in this Muppet version they changed the first part (about 0:58) to make it more kid friendly? They really stretch out the "mama" part.

Any man who likes (loves) the Muppets like I do is an A-1 Certified Clown in my book. A most excellent video, A-1CC.

If that photo is of you, I see that we comb our hair the same way: with an egg beater. Don't you hate those darn snarls?

Seriously, Your blog is more than an "expression, a place to share." It is about YOU, and that's why bloggers come back.

lisleman said...

hmm now I can tell my wife that yes I can use an egg beater, just not for breakfast. good one!

Is that your real hair?
Or is it just hair club for men?

thanks so much for putting me in your list. I'll be adding yours to my blogroll too (it's on a separate page).
I feel like I should get my sister-in-law to reply back, she's from Alabama. I keep thinking I'll sound too much like a yankee (which I am).

Are you teasing us with that forehead shot? Good idea, keep 'em coming bcak hoping to see a little more each time. You are a marketing genius.

lisleman said...

marketing genius ? How insulting.
I've never had much regards for marketing. You do have an interesting idea. I wonder if that's what got "sexting" started?
I just had a thought (I didn't say a good thought) sexting for seniors?

You know, I have to admit I rarely watch the videos. But I do generally read the posts, so that counts for something, right?

lisleman said...

of course it does - but you missed a great video (if you like muppets). I do realize some can not watch the clips because they are at work.

Blogging definitely requires time...and in my book, it's time well spent! ;) That muppet video is one of my favorites...of course, like others, that song will now be stuck in my head all day! :)

lisleman said...

thanks - suggest you click on the music tag/label and find another song to replace that after awhile. You might like Iko Iko or maybe a Beatles song.

That is a great post and I so love Bohemian Rhapsody even if its the Muppets. Any way the wind blows sounds like a good philosophy as far as blogging goes. It does take a lot of time really and I dont spend the time on it I once did. But th egood thing sis you can stop and start and it will always be there. I love blogging I have to say when I have the time. Sometime sI am serious, mostly not, but its fun and makes me happy. I really like your blog layout and all the changes you have made. Oh and you have great hair!!!
