Attention
Have you seen this blogger (AKA Lilly from the land of OZ downunder) on any of your blog comment sections??
She may have been last seen with this guy:
(who BTW tries to look like me - but I digress)
I believe many of you know of her from her great blog, Lilly's Life. She probably doesn't know this but she really help me get this blog going. She was an inspiration and she had a good number of blog friends and followers.
Not to alarm anyone and we all know there many many good and bad things in life that could change our blogging priority. But I have notice a lack of comments from her at this blog and at other blogs I frequent.
Also, her blog has not been updated since Nov. 09. I just went there to leave a comment and noticed:
I remember comments being allowed to go up without moderation before. Now of course if she just rather sign off and be left alone or she has better things to do (like that George guy), well Ok then, I'm sorry to bother her or anyone.Comment moderation has been enabled. All comments must be approved by the blog author.
I just miss her great comments and great inspiring posts. So if anyone reading this has seen her
This has been a special blogger bulletin, you may now return to your blog browsing.

I'm sorry I don't know her. I hope she is just busy with life and she's happy and well. I am about to lose all of my friends if I don't start leaving comments.
Take care!
I miss her too. I think she led me to you. As a brand new blogger then I was thrilled to see her cute meaningful comments. We just want to tell her we miss her.
I haven't had a comment from Lilly in a very long time.
"Break a leg" is a well-known saying in theatre which means "good luck". It is typically said to actors and musicians before they go out onto stage to perform.
The expression reflects a theatrical superstition in which wishing a person "good luck" is considered bad luck.
For the curtain call, when actors bow or curtsy, they place one foot behind the other and bend at the knee, 'breaking' the line of the leg. In theatre, pleased audiences may applaud in which time encore bows sometimes occur. On Broadway this is considered the highest compliment to an actor.
I don't know her, but she might have put the comment moderation on because I just added it to my TY&B blog (when I posted yesterday I took it off). The reason I added it was since I haven't been active on that blog, I started receiving spam comments and I was getting tired of going back there to remove them. With moderation on, it will stop those comments from occurring.
@momster - no I don't think the readers will leave because of lack of comments but if you blog stays idle for many months, your visitors will drop off. True friends won't leave.
@Ocean Girl - yes I agree - I miss her witty funny stuff.
@Joanie M - thanks for checking - I knew the good luck connection but did not know about breaking the line of the leg. Interesting what you learn in blogland.
@YNB - I've had a few spammer comments but not many but I could see if you don't actively monitor the blog the number would build up.
Her face is sort of familiar, but not sighted recently. Perhaps on a long holiday?
And you have blogrolled me! Very kind compliment, thankyou.

When I went underground, I indicated that people should email me, but if I had it do do over, I'd enable comment moderation so I could get back with people who were looking for me without leaving their links publicly. Why not leave her a comment asking if sh'es okay?
@dave - BTW you if don't remember her blog, you should check it out. It had some very good writing/stories. I used to tell the blogger I blogrolled but now think that was appearing to ask for the return favor and also I'm getting lazier. You're welcome.
@secret agent woman - just wondering why didn't you go with 'babe' instead of 'woman' on that moniker? I did leave a comment or two over the past months.
I hope you find her and that she is well.
@unknown mami - yes but really you fellow bloggers could help. I'll assume the best - that life became so enriching that she couldn't pull herself away to blog.
BTW - I'm just about finished with my next post about comments - check back
I'm a HUGE Lily fan. She really helped me launch my blog when I was first starting out.
My guess is she's caught up with her great family and life in general and is taking a break-- at least I hope so.
I'll be watching to see if that picture of George, I mean you, got her to come out again.

@JJ - well let us know if you hear from her and I'll do the same. thanks
Lisleman - oh my I feel so bad. I tried to reply to one of your previous comments to me but was unable to do so. Thanks for such a great post. Life has been a bit all over the place for me for the past few months and hopefully I can get back to blogging soon enough, fingers crossed. Time gets away and even I am surprised how long I have not blogged for - stuff came up unexpectedly that kind of refocused my attention. I appreciate your comments, truly, and you have a great blog and great sense of humor. And of course, it was the pic of George that drew me out (and Joanna emailing me with this link). Damn that man he gets around hey? Email me your email address sometime.
@lilly - so good to read a comment from you. The stuff of life that came up I'm guessing might be good and bad but I'm hoping it was mostly good. all the best.
I miss her too. I think she led me to you. As a brand new blogger then I was thrilled to see her cute meaningful comments. We just want to tell her we miss her.
So glad you inspired her to check in with us! I often wonder when someone leaves indefinitely if they will ever return and you do tend to miss them. Good for you in bringing her out of retirement!
thanks but I certainly had some help from Joanna at Fifty Factor
