a few short odds and ends

Blogging is about sharing.  Here's a few odds and ends of no particular importance.  However, they maybe important since someone thought of putting them on the internet and that means - what does that mean?  Nothing other than some blog fodder.

Odds - interested in finding the odds of something?   Here's one related to the season.

Twice as many cooking-related house fires occur on Thanksgiving than any other day of the year.
That statistic comes from the Book of Odds web site.

Ends - The end of another Raisin Monday nears as I write this.  Here's a picture from Raisin Monday (those are foam covered students)

It's a student tradition where older students adopt first year students as 'children', and guide them through the first year of academic life at St. Andrews in Scotland.  I don't know if they wear kilts during this event, but glowing colored outfits must be a requirement for anyone labeled 'C'.

A friend sent me this link of an interesting building in London.  I didn't want to steal the pic, so here's a link to the  site of interesting architecture from around the world that had the picture and lots of background info.

Happy Thanksgiving - Bit of advice - Don't cross the road like this turkey!!

I'm impressed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog that's equallу educative and іnteresting,
and let mе tell yоu, you've hit the nail on the head. The issue is an issue that too few people are speaking intelligently about. I'm vеry happy thаt
I stumbleԁ acroѕѕ this during my hunt for ѕomеthing relating to this.
