Familiar with wikipedia? I suspect that you heard of it and may use it often. I think it is a great source of information. Want to know more - click this.
So someday many years from now, a curious young person may ask, "what was this Airfone thing?" Maybe they will research it from their passenger seat.
Also, over on wikipedia there is a Verizon page and Airfone is listed in the "See also" section. Our status as a Verizon footnote continues.

I noticed that airfone.com no longer links to anything. I guess that makes it official.
I see the corporate site only has General Aviation information -- and that is a blurb for GA customers to get their ducks in a row by December 4.
